Summer Fun

It's hard to believe that there are only 15 days until the first day of school for Allie! The summer has been full of fun!

Ryan received a Spiderman punching bag from our wonderful babysitter, Lauren. He got in a good workout in his Star Wars underwear.

Allie & her BFF Maggie had a special day with me today. Ryan was in camp so we had a day just for the girls! When we picked up Maggie, she came out wearing a navy blue dress...just like Allie. These girls are two peas in a pod! To start our day, we went to the Pirate puppet show @ the Roswell Cultural Arts Center. After the show, we grabbed a donut from Krispy Kreme and headed to get our nails done. The girls picked fluorescent green for their fingers and a bright magenta for their toes. I chose a more subtle red for my pedicure. Allie then spent a few hours playing at Maggie's house. I hope the girls remain friends even though they are attending different schools this year.

When I picked Ryan up from his last day of Mt. Zion camp, he was holding a container with dirt and a VERY long earthworm in it! He told me that he wanted to find a place in our yard for our worm. Ryan explained that earthworms help to make dirt 'healthy' by eating it. Unfortunately, the worm didn't survive the trip back to our house. RIP Wormy. Sorry the ride home was so bumpy (someone was shaking the container!!)

We are going to Hilton Head tomorrow for our final beach week of the summer! We plan to enjoy every minute!
