Allie is a CHEERLEADER!

We asked Allie if she wanted to take dance. No. Play soccer? No. After-school Spanish? No. Cheerleading? YES!  They created a new league this year called CFL (Cobb Football League). The boys play football and the girls cheer through our high school area. Allie is cheering for the 10-11yo Walton Raiders (Red). She LOVES IT!  Neil took Allie and Ryan to see the high school team play at the GA Dome right before her first game.   The high school cheerleaders picked her up. So proud!

Sean starts school too!

This year, Sean is attending Mom's Morning Out at Mt. Zion on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30-12:30. The first day drop-off was fine. He walked right in without any tears! They did tell me that he laid down on the little couch in their room and napped for about 20min!  There are only 3 children with 2 teachers. One is Miss Yoko who was Ryan's teacher when he was in the 12-18mo old class!

Back to School!

Ok. I am playing 'catch-up again'!!  The end of summer came TOO quickly!  Allie and Ryan were sad to see it end but excited to start school.  Allie started 2nd grade and her teacher is Ms. Birdsong. Thankfully, Ms. Birdsong's favorite color is purple (like Mrs. Mullins last year). I didn't want to buy Allie a new wardrobe!  Ryan started Kindergarten with Mrs. Barkley. I think he was most excited about riding the bus!
