March Madness

Ok, I do not follow college basketball. I am referring to our BUSY, BUSY, BUSY month of activities! We had 5, yes, FIVE egg hunts, 2 trips to Hilton Head, visits with friends from out of town...Allie and Ryan have quite the busy social calendar.

Here is a link to photos and I will post a few highlights as well.

Spring Training
This could be the scariest Easter Bunny ever (Salty Dog Egg Hunt, HH)

Swimming in the ocean on March 22...lovely!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Ryan's class had a party today. Obviously, he drank too much green milk!

Wacky Weather

Saturday was quite a day...thunderstorms, hail the size of (small) matzoh balls, tornado warnings! Luckily, we did not sustain any damage. Downtown ATL was not so lucky. As much as I DO NOT miss snowstorms...I would take a Nor'EastAH any day over a tornado!

I brought up the bassinet so I could put in the car to drop off to a friend...and of course Mr. Mischief had to check it out!

Cousin Mike

Cousin Mike joined us for a weekend in Hilton Head during his Spring Break. Allie and Ryan loved seeing him (and wrestling with him!!) Mike helped Neil complete many projects at our villa...it's really shaping up!

Silly faces before dinner

Ryan loved this swing!
Ryan rides in style!

By the Savannah River

Mike is a total snapshot of what Ryan will look like in 19 years!

Bunny time

Allie and Ryan visited the Easter Bunny at NorthPoint Mall a few weeks ago.

One more baby...

Robert Blaise was born this morning! Congratulations to Bob, Teresa, and big sister Andie!!

(I am totally NOT drinking the water around here with all these babies popping up!!)

Allie McBeetle

Coach Cortez has been calling Allie 'Ally McBeal' every week since we started swim lessons. Allie and Ryan picked out duck-shaped bubbles at the store on Friday. On the way home, I asked Allie if she had a name for her duck. She answered 'Allie McBeetle!'. Then I asked Ryan if his duck had a name as well. He answered 'Ryan McBeetle!'.

Coach Cortez also calls any red-headed children 'gray-hair'. Allie goes to school with Avery, a little red-head who used to be in her swim class. A few weeks ago, I was asking her who she saw at school that day. She said 'I saw GRAY-HAIR on the playground!'

Where are the tweezers?

Tonight, as Ryan and I were watching TV, he pointed to my face and said 'Mommy, what are those 2 fuzzy things?'. I responded that they were eyebrows and that he had them too. He responded with 'I don't have those fuzzy things on MY face'.

I guess Mommy needs to do some plucking!
