Belly Time

Sean is a huge fan of tummy...or as Allie likes to call it 'belly time'.  I don't recall Allie or Ryan enjoying being on their belly much when they were newborns. Sean loves to be on his belly and chill out. He picks up his head and turns it from side to side. I swear I saw him try to get up on all fours the other day too!

Allie loves to get down on the floor to 'play' with Sean during his belly time.  Allie is an AMAZING big sister and she loves helping and taking care of the baby.  He was crying in the car today and she said 'Oh boy, I think he's hungry!'.  I love watching her grow in her role as big sister!

Little Jasmines

Allie had her first 'REAL' dance recital this year.  Dan & Company holds their recital at the Atlanta Civic Center so Allie was on the BIG stage!!  The entire ballet portion was a re-enactment of Aladdin and Allie's class did the 'Little Jasmines' number.  Allie was wonderful! She loved being up on the stage!  The video is from dress rehearsal. Allie starts out on the right back row (as you are looking at the stage) and then moves to the front right, then the left. She is the one telling the other girl to go to the other side of the stage.   Tonight was the real show and the girls were fabulous! We are so proud of Allie!

Mother's Day 2010

I am so lucky to be called 'Mommy' by these two beautiful children.  They make me laugh every day! Just when I think that I could not possibly love them anymore, they do something that makes my heart swell all over again. And to think in less than 2 weeks, we will have another baby in our family. I am looking forward to watching Allie become a big sister (again) and Ryan become a big brother.  I know that it will just make me love them even more!

Allie made a 'Mom & Me' book that was very cute.  According to Allie:
My mom is as smart as...MY DAD!
My mom likes to shop for...flip-flops and ketchup!
My mom is as cute as...ME!

Ryan's performance

Wednesday was Ryan's music performance @ Mt. Zion. As always, he sang with much enthusiasm. Many times you could hear him over all of the other kids! They sang songs in both English and Spanish. After the show, the kids were sugared up with cookies and lemonade as you can see from the goofy pictures :).

Just chillin' on stage between songs

Parker and Ryan

Ryan was line-leader today and he celebrated his 'pseudo-birthday'. Since his real birthday is in July and he won't get to celebrate at school, he celebrated today.  We made ice cream cone cupcakes (same as last year).  I can't believe he will be FIVE in just 8.5 weeks!

All about Mom

Ryan brought home the Mother's Day gift that he made for me at school. They made adorable flowers cut from pool noodles, cards, and pictures.  He also completed an 'All about Mom' questionnaire.  What a sweetheart! I am a very lucky Mommy!
I am a hot mess...ha ha!

Miss A

Allie participated in the LETTER PEOPLE show at Mt. Bethel. Every year, each Kindergarten student is assigned a letter and a short poem to memorize. The kids perform the poems and dress up as something related to their letter. Allie was letter 'A' and a few other girls wanted to be Angels. YES! A very easy costume! I did feel bad that she was the only Angel without wings but I think she is over it.

With her 'All About Me' book. I was surprised to find out that her favorite holiday is Chinese New Year!
Allie didn't want to play with her friends. She just wanted to read!

I can't believe there are only 2.5 more weeks in Allie's kindergarten year!!!
