I had the following conversation with Allie as I was getting changed, after pool-time, this afternoon.
A (giggling): It's ok Mommy, I can see your boobies.
(as I put on my bra)
A: Wow, that thing is cool. When I grow up, I will wear one of those to protect my boobies!
M: It's called a 'bra'.
A: I can't wait until I can wear a bra!
(I didn't tell her that I started wearing one when I was 9, so she might not have to wait that long!)
A: Oh and those are your underwear, so no one can see your booty!
'Booty' is definitely Allie & Ryan's favorite word right now. We are always talking about someone's booty. Ah, the things that make kids giggle!
