On Friday, both kids had Halloween parties at school. (Ryan: Batman, Allie: Alena, from Barbie Diamond Castle). Here are a few pictures of Ryan's class:

And finally, the actual evening of Trick or Treating! Allie made a last minute costume change from Jasmine to her 'day attire' of Alena. Ryan stuck with his original choice of Clone Captain Rex. We started out at about 6:30 and yes, it was still pretty light out! We left a bucket of candy at the end of our driveway with a note saying 'help yourself'! Many of our neighbors go all out with decorations and a few were a little scary! Ryan lost steam pretty quickly and stayed in the wagon but Allie kept on ringing those doorbells. 
It's now 8:30, we are home, kids are asleep, and Neil and I are eating all of the candy that has nuts/peanuts! (Oh and although we didn't see him, rumor has it there is a guy who walks through our neighborhood with a wagon filled with beer...his costume...appropriately 'King of Beers'!)

how fun!!! That's funny about the King of Beer - there was a house in Jen's neighborhood that had "treats" for the adults too... Great idea to make TOT a little more fun for the adults!! Allie and Ryan crack me up with their costume changes...don't let them share their secrets w/Trent and Ansley...OK?!!
