Take me out to the ball game...

4 Tickets to the Atlanta Braves v. Milwaukee Brewers: $72.00
1 cotton candy, 1 vanilla ice cream, and 1 large Sprite: $18.00
Taking your children to their first professional baseball game: Priceless

We took Allie and Ryan to Turner Field for their first BIG LEAGUE game last night. Sadly, the Red Sox do not play inter-leauge in ATL anymore...so we picked a random game! We left early and took MARTA (TWICE in one month...I am single-handedly saving the environment!!) to Neil's office. It was fun to sit in Daddy's chair and play with all of the 'toys' (yes, paper-weights are toys to toddlers) in his office. Who knew Daddy had so much 'fun' at work???

We arrived early and watched the Braves batting practice. Then we grabbed some dinner at The Chop House and walked around the stadium. Allie and Ryan loved the Cartoon Network area (shocker)! A nice woman gave Allie and Ryan foam tomahawks which they were happy to CHOP all over each other! By the time the game started, Ryan was 1/2 way through a bag of cotton candy and Allie was eating the biggest dish of vanilla ice cream EVER...good times. The pre-game festivities were definitely more interesting than the actual game! We left after 3 innings :).
