Summer o' Fun

Allie and Ryan's SUMMER O' FUN continues! We went to American Adventure (http://www.americanadventurefunpark.com/) with Tanya, Evan and John-Paul on Tuesday. This is a Six Flags park geared towards children 12 and younger. We frequented the park several times last summer...and we are VERY excited that they are staying open year-round!

Most of the rides are low-key. They have bumper cars, the Scramber, Tilt-a-Whirl (one of my favorites), and some other small rides. Perfect for toddlers!

Allie was MOST excited to ride the rollercoaster. She would not ride it last summer...and Ryan was too small. Here they are at the end of the rollercoaster ride.

In hindsight, it was probably too scary for an almost 3yo! But he wanted to ride with the big kids. Just another item towards my 'Mom of the Year' award!

On Wednesday, we met some friends for our first adventure in BOWLING!!! I was excited to find out that they rent bowling shoes in Ryan's size! It's not the same game without the shoes, right? We used the bumpers and the ball ramp. A good time was had by all!

The boys examine the balls (get your head out of the gutter...pun intended!)

Not that it matters, but Allie is the 2nd 'A'. She won!

Allie and Ryan are having a GREAT summer! Stay tuned for more of their adventures!
