Sleep Over

After what seemed like MONTHS of asking if Maggie could sleep over...we finally made it happen! Allie has been counting down to Friday, a.k.a. sleepover day, all week. Maggie arrived at 5:30 and we enjoyed a pizza dinner. For dessert, we created our own sundaes with vanilla ice cream, gummie bears!!, and other assorted sugary-treats (hindsight is telling me maybe all the sugar was a bad idea...).

As our guest, we let Maggie pick a movie and she picked Barbie Diamond Castle. I'm still hearing them sing the theme song in unison!(The girls are always very good to Ryan. He was feeling sad that he would be left out of the sleep-over but they made sure to include him right up until bedtime.)

Allie and Maggie are now up in Allie's room where I told them that they could play quietly for a bit. If they come down and start asking for the phone and the # of the boys in their preschool class, I might be in trouble! We'll see how much 'sleeping' occurs at this sleepover!
