The tide pools are very deep and wide due to all of the rain. There are 100s of starfish...although the # decreases every day as children (not mine) stack them up and throw them all over the beach. We have not amputated any starfish limbs...yet. There are also some blue crabs and rays in the pools!
Neil took the kids on a jet ski on Monday. He let Ryan 'drive' for a bit and he promptly turned so quickly that he threw Neil & Allie off the jet ski! Ryan thought this was funny. Allie did not!
Ryan has discovered a new favorite food: CORNDOGS!
We bought Ryan a bike with training wheels as an early birthday present. He loves riding around with Allie!
Allie & Ryan have been taking turns sleeping on the top bunk of the bunk-bed this week. Ryan decided he wanted to skip his turn and sleep on the bottom again tonight. He asked Allie to sleep in the bottom bunk-bed with him. Her response: Um, that is not going to happen! What a character!
We are looking forward to more sun, sand and fun!
