Ryan's class is about to start a unit on apples and his teacher asked each student to bring an apple to school on Monday. We went shopping today and looked at all of the different types of apples. As I was filling up the bag, I was talking to Ryan about the pretty color and telling him how good they would taste. He then asked me what kind of apples I was putting in the bag. I told him that they were PINK LADY apples. He frowned at me and said 'I don't want PINK LADIES, I want MAN APPLES!'.
On a slightly unrelated note, Ryan's assistant teacher Mrs. Nitz has a FAMOUS husband (well, famous for Atlanta). Brad Nitz is the weekend weatherman for WSB-Channel 2 News! He is going to co-teach with Mrs. Nitz later this month. I bet he will have lots of great weather stories to share with the class!
