To better prepare for Baby G #3's arrival, we signed Allie & Ryan up for the 'Baby & Me' class @ Northside Hospital. For the first part of the class, the kids learned how to hold, diaper change, and swaddle a baby (doll). Ryan needed a little help with the diaper change but that was good practice for Neil. Allie is quite the swaddler! Neither of them dropped the baby or poked it in the eye, so I would call that a success. We also walked down to the nursery to see some newborn babies (Allie exclaimed 'They are SOOOO cute!") and saw one of the rooms where they will visit us after the baby is born.
There were so many funny moments during the class...all of the kids had us laughing at one point or another. When asked if they were born @ Northside, Allie said 'Yes, my brother and I were born here at the same time. We're twins!' I think Allie & Ryan's favorite part was the coupon for free ice cream at McDonald's when they come back to the hospital!
