On Monday, August 10, 2009, Allie hopped on the bus for her first day of Kindergarten! We are so proud of her! Allie did not cry (but I did!!) She had a great day and came home exhausted. The bus arrives @ 7:00am so we are up earlier than usual and it's a full-day of school for her. The bus drops her off @ 2:45pm. Both days she was smiling and looking for us at the bus-stop. Allie tells me that she 'loves' Kindergarten and I hope she feels that way in a few weeks!! Her next big request is to buy lunch from the cafeteria which she will hopefully do on Friday!
Maggie called this afternoon and she and Allie caught up on the 1st two days of Kindergarten. The girls are at different schools this year. It was so funny to listen to them chat and giggle!
(Ryan is a little sad that his partner-in-crime is gone all day but he's enjoying all of his mommy-time.)

Miss Roberts sent us a picture of Allie's class from the first day. The students made 'Buccaneer' hats (for the Mt. Bethel Buccaneers). I don't think Allie was too happy with how her hat fit!
