Fine art and turkey legs

Every Thursday, the High Museum (Atlanta's MFA) hosts the 'Toddler Thursday' program. The normally quiet and refined museum is turned into one big toddler playroom for the afternoon. Allie and Ryan are learning that this type of art is for looking, not touching. After seeing the exhibit, we have craft-time. This week we made 'tapestry' art after seeing the Matisse exhibit.

At the other end of the spectrum, we ventured to the North Georgia State Fair on Saturday afternoon. I am sad to report that I did not see any fried oreos or fried pies this year...but the TURKEY legs were plentiful! Allie and Ryan had a great time on all of the rides...and mommy had fun 'people-watching'.
