End of Summer

This summer has FLOWN by! I think it's mostly due to Sean's arrival...the days are just jumping off the calendar!  We went to Hilton Head last week and despite the heat and humidity, we had a great time! I don't have many pictures since I left my camera in the stroller and the sprinklers killed it!

And a few pictures of Sean and Ryan once we got home. Sean is 10wks! I can't believe he is big enough for the Bumbo seat already! He was 14lb 9oz at his 2 month appt a few weeks ago! Greater than 95th percentile. Following right in his siblings steps for size!

It was a great summer and everyone is very excited (ok, maybe just ME) about the start of school later this week!!

8 weeks

Sean is 8 weeks old today! We have his 2 month appt on the 20th but I can tell that he is growing!  He moved up to size 2 diapers and has been wearing 3-6 month clothing for a few weeks.  He smiles all the time, especially when Allie & Ryan play with him. Sean loves his big sister and big brother!

I know I am biased but he is just about the cutest baby EVER!!

Ryan is FIVE

The celebration continued with Ryan's ACTUAL birthday on July 5th. He is now 46lbs (80%) and 43.5in (60%). He is definitely becoming more lean...I'm going to miss his chubbiness!

On July 4th, we let Ryan pick a restaurant for dinner. He decided that he wanted to go to the 'cut the meat with sword restaurant'.  This is a brazilian steakhouse where they bring you endless meat and you use tongs to catch the meat that they cut with a huge sword. Does it get any better than meat and swords?

And of course we had to shoot some of our own fireworks! Neil took Allie & Ryan to see their first 'real' fireworks display at Indian Hills that night!

On his big day, he requested 'breakfast at the Marriott'. This boy loves a good breakfast buffet and goes crazy for omelettes made to order.

For dinner, Neil took Allie & Ryan to Medieval Times.  We went last year and Ryan has been talking about returning since that visit! THe kids dressed up in their knight and princess best. THey cheered for the red/yellow knight and Allie was named 'Queen of Beauty' by her knight! 

We think it was another successful birthday for Ryan! We can't wait to see how he grows and learns this year!

Ok, ok...it's been a few weeks since I have updated the blog. Cut me some slack, I've been busy :).  But now I have pictures of all THREE kids (still sounds weird to say I have '3' kids)!

We were very lucky to have my dear friend, Jodi Craine (http://www.jodicrainephotography.com/) take pictures of Allie & Ryan in May and of Sean just before he was 2 weeks old!
