Thankful Ryan

Ryan's teachers posted a board of turkey feathers today. Each feather has a child's picture and what he/she is thankful for this year.  Ryan's feather says:

'Ryan is thankful for his family, all his stuffed animals, and the Earth'.

So sweet!

I can't wait to see his class perform at the Thanksgiving Feast next week!

Mt. Bethel Fun Run

Allie & Ryan ran the Mt. Bethel Fun Run Kindergarten race today. It's a 1/2 mile (1 lap) race. Neil jogged along with them.  The weather was perfect and they did a great job, running most of it. The best part was medals for everyone and Dunkin' Donuts when they were done!

Ready to race!

Halloween-a-pa-looza Part 2

We continued our week of fun with cookie decorating at East Cobb Park with the Cobb Moms.  Lots of sugar cookies, frosting, and candy corn. Do you really need anything else?

The forecast for Halloween was not great. It rained all day until about mid-afternoon.  Just as we headed out to trick-or-treat, it started to drizzle. It wasn't too bad and we weren't going to let a little drizzle keep us from all of that candy!

We saw Rebecca and Matthew F. from Allie's Kindergarten class!

It is now 8:30pm and Princess Leia and Jango Fett are fast asleep! Happy Halloween!

More costume changes than Cher

After Jango Fett on Saturday....

Batman on Thursday...

Astronaut on Friday...

He'll go back to Jango for Trick or Treating tonight!

More soccer pictures

Ryan is showing much improvement at soccer. He has scored several goals and hardly ever tackles anyone on the other team! No really, he is learning a great deal and enjoys playing.  This week his team only had 4 players. They play 3-on-3 scrimmages so no one got much rest. Next Sunday is the last session for the Blasters.

#7

Allie lost her 7th tooth today. You would think the excitment would wear off after the first few. Not for Allie. She bounced off the bus and screamed 'I lost my tooth in PE!'. She went on to explain 'I was on the scooter-thingie and it just FELL OUT!'  Thankfully, she found the tooth and her teacher put it in a plastic necklace shaped like a tooth.  Allie brought home the 'Tooth Fairy Bag' which includes lots of books about losing teeth and a journal.  Every time you lose a tooth, you take home the bag and record in the journal how you lost your tooth. This process definitely made #7 special for Allie!
